Allow me to point out the Wikipedia entry on Persian Jews.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persian_Jews

Interesting to note is that they're only allotted one seat in their Parliament, and that discrimination and intimidation pretty much keeps them from doing much that might attract more negative attention than they do just by being alive.

"Jews in Iran are not allowed to communicate with Jewish groups outside of Iran unless the group is opposed to the existence of Israel..."

It is likely that until the mullahs are removed from power and the Persian Jews are allowed to express themselves candidly without fear of reprisals against themselves and their families, the real state of opinions among Persian Jews will remain unconfirmed. Wallace may have read a great deal of propaganda put out by the Iranian government and public statements made by Persian Jews under probable duress, and his internal bias has him inclined to believing that rather than noting that any community which is out numbered ten thousand to one, in a country noted for its religious fanaticism and arbitrarily unjust judicial system, is not going to vocally and publicly denounce their neighbors or call much attention to themselves.

I heard Hannity's chat with Wallace yesterday. Wallace was babbling and incoherent for most of the time.

RATS do enjoy their leftist dictators. Wallace with Ahmadinejad, Rather with Castro, Rather with Saddam, and of course anyone with Gorbachev.

I've heard lately that it's the dictator's power that RATS wish to emulate. Maybe it's time for the RATS to get some new friends...

Unfortunately I lack the time to do it, but I'm sure that if someone were to compare Mike Wallace's comments about some other great leader like ... oh I don't know ... Castro, or Stalin, to his comments on this loon, the similarities would jump right off the page.

The guy is a mainstream journalist so by definition he's not all that smart, and profoundly lacking in creativity.

He thinks the Madman is sincere, but he still thinks Bush is dishonest.

That's like saying Hitler didn't mean what he said about the Jews. They are protected in Germany, Hitler dreams only of peace and dialogue with the West. Yeah, we've heard that garbage before.

The interview was fascinating. I was trying to figure out what it was that made Ahmandidjad click into the irrational category for Walllace.

Then Wallace noted that the Iranian pres felt sorry for Bush and his low approval numbers. That was it.

Journalistic contempt for Bush is the glue that holds humanity together in the minds of Wallace.

With that, Wallace can discard all manner of mennacing threats.

What I kept wanting Sean to ask was what is the legitimacy of the Islamic imperialism upon the culture and civilization of Persians. They came to power in 1979 while Israel was sanctioned into existence in 1948. They are an Arab Islamic order imposed upon a very different Persian community. Maybe they need to be wiped off the map or at least moved back to Saudi Arabia where this 'problem actually started'

Wallace also looked like a fool saying Ahmandidjad was elected. Sean should have taken him to task on that absurd assertion as well.

Mike Wallace is a self-loathing, senile old fool. Born Myron Wallace, his career actually peaked in 1949 when he was the host of "Stand by for Crime" on early TV. It has been downhill ever since as he has sought more and more attention through sensationalism and "gotcha" journalism.

David Duke looks like Mother Theresa when put up against Ahmahnutajob. Yet if given the chance Wallace would roast Duke on the nearest funeral pyre. But because Ahmahnutajob hates America and Hates Bush, Wallace can overlook the fact that Ahmahnutajob want to kill every Jew and enslave every woman on earth.

Ahmanutajob's hatred of Bush and conservatives covers many sins in Wallace's eyes.

This is just incredible..I have to think the guy is senile. Incidentally I do some freelance event planning--one is for an organization that is honoring Wallace with a dinner sometime before the end of the year--I guarantee there will be hordes of people fawning all over the guy despite this interview.

Propaganda is Wallace's milieu, so he doesn't find it offensive like normal people do. He just admires their style.

Recall how drive-by media reacted, when President Reagan made his (off-mike) quip that he'd "...begin bombing in 5 minutes." Why, their dresses were all up over their heads! "Shocking, shocking I tell you! How can he JOKE about something like this?!? Etc

But here, we have terrorists openly they claim want to destroy Israel & Jews, saying they are committed to violence & destruction of a UN-mandated country. It gets a yawn from cBS.

In short: If it's an overtly anti-U.S. or anti-Israel remark about applying violence and death, it's OK. "Don't judge em, group-hug, multi-culti, etc." Right, Mike? Mike Wallace: traitor? [GUILTY.]
