I AM proud of whatever I am. And I am part of India and not British India and thankfully no part of me is British or has even remotely anything to do with it. I AM proud of my rich INDIAN heritage which is several thousand years older then that of Europe. The British Raj is a mere blotch but only for a brief moment when you consider our 15,000 year old history. Whatever we have achieved, we don't owe the credit to anybody. We look at OUR OWN heritage with pride and have no use for someone's else's.
