Israel updates US administration on decision to widen Lebanon operation
Israel updated the Bush administration on its decision to widen the ground offensive against Hizbullah in southern Lebanon.
Israel argued that diplomatic efforts failed to secure the demands set by the government and do not guarantee the safety of Israeli citizens, US officials were told. (Ronny Sofer)

Olmert updates Katsav, Netanyahu, Itzik on Lebanon operation
