I think the agreement sounds appalling, but I also think Olmert bears a huge burden of the blame - he has had just about ONE MONTH to do something in southern Lebanon, he couldn't expect the USA to be able to hold off the UN and the Arab League weasels forever, and he squandered much of this historic need and opportunity.
I also hope/expect that the Hezi-Nazis will give Israel cover to toss aside the resolution and resume the offensive, though with Olmert it is getting hard to believe he will do so.

Olmert is not the man is going to lead Israel. As Ari Shavit said, if he does this, something is going to break in the average Israeli. And the earthquake will not be long in coming.
