Israeli drone rockets car convoy in Lebanon, 2 dead





Israeli aircraft fired at least five rockets at a convoy of hundreds of cars carrying people fleeing south Lebanon on Friday, killing at least two people and wounding eight, witnesses and rescue workers said.



They said the convoy that had left the town of Marjayoun earlier in the day was targeted by at least one drone near the village of Kefraya in eastern Lebanon. Around 3,000 civilians and 350 Lebanese security men had left the town in the convoy a day after Israeli forces seized the area. (AP)
