So far..we're hearing from AP- Channel 2 & 10 in Israel- all saying the defense minister telling troops to go forward with ground invasion.
IF this is serious- then they have simply GOT to do it. It would be unforgiveable to use these troops as a tool..
I want that emergency shipment of cluster bombs to get there already.
More importantly, before Olmert got wind of his falling poll numbers. ;)

He just said two newspapers did polls...and both found that Israelis by 75% approve of continuing the war...but, that Olmerts polling numbers are dipping sharply..
Then, Hemmer said that that is ODD, because that means that they DON'T want the war!!!!

Publically, though, PM Olmert has stated at least three goals of this war:
1) The return of the 2 soldiers without condition
2) The disarming of Hezbollah in accords with 1559
3) The Lebanese Army in S. Lebanon and Hezbollah out
IF, and right now it is still a BIG IF, the U.N. stuff passes and is accepted in basically the format that has been reported, PM Olmert will most likely gain zero of the above three.
