Six of the 11 Egyptian students, gone AWOL are now in custody, according to Fox News. One was reportedly "lost" in Minnesota, two surrendered to authorities in New Jersey and another two were thought to have been apprehended in New York.

I think it obvious that the nation faces a threat of Muslim terrorism. The terrorists have been Muslim, mostly young men, the names Mohamed and Moustafa dominate, the appearance is middle Eastern. I think this information should be used in threat assessments (AKA profiling). So, I agree with many of the sentiments and beliefs that I'm seeing on this thread.

But, is it possible (just possible) that this is one of those rare occasions where CBS (See "Bologna") might get lucky and be right? Is it possible that these particular Momamed Moustafas slipped loose to find jobs?

Time for another BUMP! Even if we wanted to believe that the first six that were apprehended were perfectly innocent, albeit stupid, I find it increasingly disturbing that the other 5 haven't been found.

I agree. The "cultural" class in Montana was for 30 days. What can any one learn about a Country in 30 days.

I would bet their Visas were longer than 30 days, which would be interesting to know. Evidently these "students" used the stray and stay plan offered by the US Department of Immigration.

I'd suggest reinstating of the Bounty Hunting program. Lots of cowboys in Montana would love that opportunity!

And BTW, are the students that showed up being grilled on where their fellow Egyptian students took off to? I'm certain with 11 guys, they must have exchanged cell phone numbers. And is Immigrations going to make sure they are sent back to Egypt after their 30 days in Bozeman?
