Does this mean he won't be on the Sunday shows?

If only Biden were with him.

I sure he'll be in a "living hell" roughing it in a suite at the 4 Seasons London till Sunday all paid for by the US taxpayer.

The Schumer family spent eight hours racing back and forth between Heathrow terminals just trying to catch up with their luggage.

No information? Not even for his wife, the current commissioner of the New York City Department of Transportation, Iris Weinshall.

Keep him, we don't want him. Too bad he able to talk to the press from there!

"It's a nightmare, everyone's stuck, and our flight is apparently delayed until Sunday,''

What a moron. He can take a train via the chunnel, and be there in about 14 hours.

Schumer, his wife and two daughters had planned a two-week trip through Europe.

Wow, must be nice.

A job in politics certainly beats the dumbass salary I'm making...........

It could've been far worse for Chucky --
the junior Senator from NY might have
been stuck there along with him:

So the poor thing was left in the dark "the British do this sort of thing well but there was no information" well let me first apologize for the lack of information, perhaps it was considered important to keep any information the security services had out of the media; after all CBS and NBC where worth a couple of divisions to the Vietcong through negative propaganda. As for our "success" in the anti-terrorist war, perhaps the bleeding hearts could explain why we British still provide refuge to known jehadists, often for years, like "Abu Hamsa".

Unfortunately we have an unenviable record for catching terrorists and then letting them go with little more, by way of punishment, than an otherwise law abiding driver would get for illegal parking. Compare the sentence of 240 years issued to your convicted terrorists in the USA with the 3 to 7 years our current crop will actually serve.

I think we will all eventually learn to our cost that the terrorist threat is caused by our own projection of our liberal ideas and assumptions onto the actions of others. The fundamental failure of Islamic culture to provide for their people is simply ignored in institutions like the UN. The west feeds the needy, we provide medical support and we try to alleviate some of the misery caused by corruption, overpopulation and illiteracy; a situation only encouraged by the miss-repretation of the teachings of Muhammad. The question we should ask is why are we never given any credit for this generosity. Until Western nations embrace the old doctrine of speaking softly but carrying a big stick the poor at the heart of the Muslim world will continue to be exploited and the corrupt will continue to benefit.
