So, will the Fed's investigate how he got from NYC to Chicago? Do we have a Islamist underground railroad?

Because the USA doesn't have USSR style internal passports... yet.

Where have they been and who was helping them survive in a foreign country? Not a terrorism risk? Will the person at the FBI with the brain please imprison and then deport these Arab Muslim males 17-22 yrs. old.

And send the rest back with them.

True enough. But why did they not catch the next flight from JFK? The original story said they got held up in customs and missed the connecting flight. The same thing happened to me once, but I just got put on the next flight to my destination. It's just odd to me that they ended up in several different places, long after they should have arrived in Montana for classes.

He probably had to visit some 'friends' in Dearborn, MI first.

I'd disagree. Now he has an excuse.

"But why did they not catch the next flight from JFK?"

"Oh dear, we've been delayed in customs and have missed our flight. Let's just take off, individually and in small groups, to seemingly random destinations, scattered across this foreign country, and avoid all contact with anyone who might reveal our location. We must reach our destination of Bozeman, Montana, and this is the best way to do it."

He was probably mad because they took his "sports drink" and "toothpaste" away from him.

>>>Not the brightest bulb in the box, I'd say. <<<

We had better hope he represents the height of the IQ pool that the jihadists have to pick from.

This guy basically tipped himself off to authorities. The FBI officials can only claim to be standing around at the right airport! Hopefully they won't try to take credit for "super-sleuthing" this bust

Before I believe, "The missing students pose no terrorism threat", I want to hear the FBI's reasoning behind that statement.

Prove it to me FBI!!

And how about busting the bureaucrats that let these "students" in the country in the first place? Huh Chertoff - how about it??

Where have they been and who was helping them survive in a foreign country?

How do American college students survive when they backpack across foreign country? Why should Egyptian college students need support from some nefarious terrorist group when American college students support themselves backpacking through Europe? Believe it or not, there are some rich and middle class Egyptians.

Not a terrorism risk?

Maybe they were, maybe they weren't. But they violated their student visas in any event, and should be deported and never granted another visa to enter this country again.

And send the rest back with them.

The rest who? Students who are legally here on student visas, actually studying? Muslim-American citizens?

"Not the brightest bulb in the box, I'd say."

I hope this "student" has enough brain matter to tell his interrogators where the other "students" might be. If he was screaming like a moron at the airport, I hope they have him squealing like a pig at the interrogation. To give an element of drama, they should play "Dueling Banjos" From The Original Soundtrack: Deliverance and have sleep deprivation techniques like the sound of pigs squealing and grunting over a loudspeaker.

And too close to Argonne National Lab, too.

Argonne, Illinois

Argonne Tandem Linac Accelerator System (ATLAS)
High Voltage Electron Microscope Tandem Facility
Intense Pulsed Neutron Source (IPNS)

***Laboratories-on-a-chip developed at Argonne can detect chemicals, bacteria or viruses that terrorists may use. The agents can be detected in less-than-lethal amounts and used to trigger alarms or detoxification systems that the laboratory is also developing.

One chip would be able to identify a range of agents more quickly than devices that have been in use.

***Argonne and partners help biorefineries compete with oil refineries

Argonne researchers are partnering with industry and other national laboratories to develop biorefineries that compete economically with oil refineries. Argonne is one of five DOE laboratories working to replace 30 percent of today's motor fuel with alternative biofuels by 203

Also too close to Fermilab
Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory
Batavia, Illinois

The entire facility is designated as a scientific user facility. The following specific resources are included:

Antiproton Source
Colliding Beam Areas
Meson Experimental Area
National Environmental Research Park
Neutrino Experimental Area
Proton Experimental Area
1,000-GeV Superconducting Accelerator System (Tevatron)

They only say that ~after~ they have them in custody.

Well, duh. Now they're not a threat (anymore).

They need to be imprisoned as pow's and released at the end of the war.

You don't put the enemy back into circulation during a war.

Gheeesh.

This is one of the Egyptian students arrested today. He basically turned himself in by trying to use a ticket from New York to Bozeman at an airport 700 miles from New York City and screaming like a moron, bringing attention to himself. Not the brightest bulb in the box, I'd say.

just a dry run to see how long it takes us to round up these fellows.... also a nice way of seeing what kind of tracking system we're now using...

remember, in a guerrilla war, it's all about a continuous probing and gathering of intel. That way you have an entire picture for future operations. The students now have to "show up". No big deal.

Now the next time they'll try to maybe bring "equipment or furniture" when they "move to college"...just to see if we're monitoring that.

Maybe get somebody a job at the airport or with security to see if an insider can facilitate movement of their people.

We'll be hit. It's gonna sting. Maybe then the dems and the libs can stfu.

One little thing that the libs and islamo-facists forgot. We dropped two nukes on Japan, burned it's capital to the dirt, left every major city in Germany unable to have a building with one brick atop another and locked up every single Japanese person on the west coast.

When our country finally gets p#ssed off, we tell the p@ssies to STFU and we will destroy you, your kids, all your cities and then build a democracy on top of your ashes.

We are in WW III. Not much to do except pray and hope that my family doesn't get hurt when terrorism visits our shores.
