Baby bottles, prescription meds, etc. are okay. This is not the best time to fly given the hours of security before you board. If it's not necessary, I'd wait for this to settle down before flying.

My daughter is due to fly out of DIA this coming Monday. She's already stressed about having to leave the house at dawn.

I fly out of DIA on a regular basis for business. It is not so bad if you have airline status and can avoid the herd. Still, I would recommend leaving the house 2 1/2 hrs before the departure time.
