To be fair, the side of the aisle that hasn't shown the fortitude hasn't actually had to fight a real war one yet. They have spent the last couple of years engaging in a politcal war more than anything else. If Iran attacks the U.S., I think everyone (excluding the ultra peacenick extremists who would rather be dhimmi slaves than ever fight in any war no matter the provocation) will show they have the fortitude to do what needs to be done.

I doubt the US would be so supportive of Israel in the present conflict without realizing it could easily turn into a regional conflict involving Syria and Iran. To me this meant the US was ready for war with Iran and Syria. Such a war is inevitable, and the sooner we engage in it, the better. Time is on the side of the Islamo-Fascists running Iran.
