The energy race is on with investors pouring in billions, the government easing restictions on nuclear power, subsidizing ethanol etc. If we can get energy dependence sooner rather then later we can defeat just about anything thrown our way. Without energy, we become a 3rd world country and unfortunately our enemies know this. Too bad the left and big oil don't care about America these days. We really need evereone on the same page...
Hey Hey, some of us here near Detroit might resent that. How about a little racial profiling to focus attention on those that have been involved 100% of the time.

We're ready and have advanced radar and satellites these days, unlike Pearl Harbor. They could surprise us with chemical or even nuclear missle attack against our troops in Iraq but that means the end of their regime and country for that matter.

True, Christ prophecied that their will be wars and reports of wars but the end is not yet. We may not the day nor the hour but the seasons. In other words, a sequence of events also known as the tribulation leads up to the final war. What good would a prophecy be without knowing what specifics to look for?
Christ further mentions to hold our heads up high because our deliverance is drawing near. Christ calls this stage the birth pangs of distress. An interesting analogy consider a new baby is beautiful but painful to deliver. A new society will form after this war. Like a baby, this society will be beautiful. We will throw away our weapons and use our resources for peaceful purposes.
It would not much matter. A third party(s) other than us will buy that oil. We would simply buy oil from sources that the third party used to buy from.

Remember something. It is evil men with ambitions of power who make bad choices. Revelations says that God steps in to ruin those ruining the earth. I pay attention as Christ admonished but we do indeed live a physical world. Live your life in faith not in fear.
The message of the bible is a guidebook for better living and understanding why certain things will happen. Make God about relationship, not about religion.
It seems to me much of Christian religions are either about fiery judgment or people who think they are holy and judge others. In reality, the bible teaches loving your neighbor as yourself, not hurting yourself through bad choices and not hurting others. Read it cover to cover and you'll see things in a totally different light when it comes to reality versus man-made religion. This isn't the place for a sermon, but I love the plan of God to increase wisdom and intelligence in these end times. We're promised that God will wipe every tear from our eyes in Revelations and death will be no more. Look at science and technology. We're fast approaching the fulfillment of this promise.

The timing of this would suggest they were involved in the UK to US flights bombing plan.

I can't help but think that if the events that unfolded in the UK today hadn't been thwarted, the outcome would have coincided with August 22nd.
This is already part of the islamist apocalypse, Mecca anyway. It would play right into their hands.
