I was shocked but genuinely pleased to hear the President state that "this nation is at war with Islamic fascists."

I always felt the words "war on terrorism" were too vague and didn't direct our efforts in the right direction.

Absolutely. The problem is not the specific methods used by Islamofascists, but their deranged objective of a global Caliphate where everyone either submits to Islam or dies. A "war on terrorism" makes about as much sense as a "war on blitzkriegs" would have in 1940.

Well, it only took Bush 5 years to get to the point and speak clearly. Yes, Islamic fascists are the enemy. Let's hope he stays on message now and repeats it often.
