"We cannot win a war if we do not identify our enemy."
I couldn't agree more. It took a long time for the President to publicly recognize what we are up against. But every single president before him - including Reagan - failed to recognize the threat of militant Islam. 9/11 woke up GWB - but not all the way. Now, though - at last! - he is fully engaged - not just against Saddam and the Taliban and Osama, who were/are specific enemies. It's a much larger struggle. The President gets this.
Political correctness and multiculturalism spent decades poisoning our discourse. It's pernicious and self-destructive. Tough to combat. The President deserves praise and admiration for his steadfastness and perseverence - not just against our foes in the field, but against numerous and powerful and vocal critics here at home.
