So how would a RAT be any better?
The Rat won't be better. I know that I've said that at least 100 times, but I may not have been explicit here.
So why report on him?
I post truth and facts. You can decide what you what you will do with that information. Some will accept the lesser evil. Some will close their eyes and ears and will deny the evidence in front of them. Some will say that his behavior is unacceptable. I just don't want people to vote for him thinking that he is the conservative that he has claimed to be when there is ample evidence that he's not.
I've been called a liar and a basher, but no one has been able to point to a lie and I'm not sure how reporting his record is bashing, especially when he's bragging about it.
Isn't the lesser evil better?
That's for you to decide for yourself. For me it isn't. I see him, in his position of power, as bad enough to do real damage to this nation while pretending to be conservative.
This 'slow train/fast train to socialism' comparison that some make between the parties is nonsense. We're still heading to socialism regardless of the speed. The GOP has't even slowed it down much less reversed direction. We need to reverse direction if we are to survive as a nation and pass on to our children an America that resembles the country we were given to safeguard.
To me, if we are going to 'fix' America, we have to start with a party represented by people who love the Idea that America represents, not just the place that America is.
A GOP populated by Dem-lites will not get the job done. I'm willing to risk having a junior senator from the minority party hold the office until the next election if we remove someone who has been co-opted and/or corrupted by the power and perks and privileges that being a Beltway Insider offers to all who succumb to her wiles.
