That clown is the one who whines for the mods when being bested. But what would you expect from one whose screen name honors a sophist philosopher ripped to shreds by Socrates. "Man is the measure of all things" was his namesake's philosophy.

What does that have to do with conservatism and where do you get off thinking you somehow have to educate us? Onyx has a theory about a LOT of these posters who signed up in the second half of '04.

**People who are currently receiving money from the Federal government. All of them.**
So, that being the case, you'd include social security recipients, federal employees, military, students who receive federal $ for college, federal grant recipients...
Is that about right?
To: beeler
Whatever. You have yet to seriously challenge any point I made. But that's understandable, it's impossible to defend the actions of the Republican leadership. You are making stuff up ...again. Either that or you never really read my posts.
If you would be so kind as to identify the post (or posts) where I have defended the Republican leadership, now is the time and this is the place to do it.
As for challenging your "points"....they were already in tatters before I got here and you did the bulk of the damage. I just came along for the laughs you have so kindly provided for us.

And you've never benefited from government money?
Did you pay cash for you and your wife's college education?
Did you both pay instate tuition? If you did, I paid for that.
The people on NC built those building for colleges long before you got here, bud.

House and senate are two different beasts. And Pence's amnesty-lite bill will probably be the compromise.

Well now, that's a contradiction of sorts, beeler. Earlier in the thread you spoke highly of Reagan. Now you hate his amnesty decision. Which is it? Oh...and by the way...your boy Clinton opened the borders wide...what adulations do you give him?
To: beeler
You are seriously deluded.

I'm not rich, and I'm not dependent on government. You must think it's a sad world where only the rich are not dependent on government.

Yeah, you shouldn't be allowed to reproduce. Too late. I'm in my 60's and have already reproduced and they are all [gasp] Republicans.
How scary is that?

The media is lying their collective butts off concerning polling results. They always have in my lifetime. I honestly believe that.
I personally know a few Connecticut residents who way back in 2000 promised they'd never vote for Lieberman again after his flip flop nonsense. I have not seen a word in the MSM about Lieberman's back tracking immediately after his nomination for VP, and the impact of that later on 2006 voters.
In no way should media polling results be trusted concerning anything outside of the ballot box.
Well, even some of those are suspect in Democrat precincts!
Anybody who responds to a poll concerning their votes is an idiot anyhow.

The Founders intended that every ELIGIBLE voter vote. It is the ineligible one who cause big problems. And they, LIKE YOU, don't vote Republican.
