Why not put in some more wells off the coast, and save all that shipping hassle and expense. Oh right, ruins the view for the rich MFs in Santa Barbara.

This cracks me up. They had rigs running off Santa Barbara but cut them down. Now they are concerned about supply impact.

There oughta be a NIMBY tax....

Got it in one. California (and Florida) refuse(s) to do its (their) part to assure continuity of supply by drilling off their coasts, and accepting the construction of refineries, but want(s) "priority" on stored oil. They can freeze in the damned dark (or worse---park their cars and have to walk).

If everyone cared so much about the environment as they claim, Immigration, legal and illegal would come to a stand still immediately. The truth be known, the more people here the more oil, food, electricity, water, air and everything else these people consume.

Drill of the coast darnit all, you do not care about the environment, get over it....

what a bunch of hipocrites.
