Muslims/Arabs Concerned About McKinney's Possible Replacement
(CNSNews.com) - The Council on American-Islamic Relations wants the man who beat Cynthia McKinney in Tuesday's congressional runoff election to meet with Muslim and Arab-American leaders -- "to discuss his recent remarks implying that voters with Arabic names may be 'terrorists.'" According to CAIR, Johnson -- in a televised debate with Rep. Cynthia McKinney -- said, "...but since we're talking about Middle East policy, I will say that the abundant number of contributors to Mrs. McKinney's campaign are, have Palestinian and Arab surnames, now I could accuse her of being under the control of terrorists." In a letter to Johnson, CAIR Government Affairs Director Corey Saylor wrote, "This comment seems to suggest that Arab-American and Muslim participation in the political process has sinister connotations and that having an Arabic name somehow indicates a propensity for violence." The Muslim community considered McKinney a friend, while some in the Jewish community suspected she is anti-Semitic. Johnson is now the Democratic nominee for McKinney's House seat.

These comments make me wonder how many other Democrat politicians are receiving financial support from CAIR. The Democrat Party's treasonous lack of support for the War on Terror suggests CAIR may have the whole party bought and paid for.

What I want to see is some reporter show that tape to Pelosi and demand to know what she is going to do about a sitting member of Congress (all be it thrown out on her terrorist support rear end) having staff who make such antisemitic and bigoted comments.
Make her explain why the Dem party has such bigoted members in their ranks cause all along, we've always heard, only Conservative are that way.

The response, I believe, was made to counter McKinney's remark about Johnson taking money from Republicans.

Did anyone else see Special Report on Fox last night? Chris Wallace showed some clips of McNutty's security making anti-Jewish statements and telling a Fox (Jewish) producer to "put on his yamaka (sp) and get his Jewish ass out of here." I'd say that the Jewish community has a good reason to be suspicious of her. I saw that. It was astounding that they were so blatant.

Oh well, the words don't fit the acronym, but truth and CAIR don't fit well anyway.

The fact that CAIR is funded from mostly outside the country would be enough for me to not give them the legitimacy they seek by meeting with them. We have enough problems with the ACLU to not give the same legitimacy to a pro-terrorist group.
