I believe you are right on with your comments, and some of us have "suspicions" but don't want to start pointing fingers without any conclusive proof...

two guys, 600 phones, and this isn't anything new! I believe... I believe, that if it's not this summer, it won't be long... and the average citizen is going to be shocked because they didn't see it coming... and they ARE in a town near all of us, hidden in plain sight... IMVHO

It really does make since if you think about it. Pulling off spectacular terrorist acts is very very difficult. Especially after 911. It would be much more realistic to fan out and have low level operations on a continuous basis. We are so terribly weak on immigration and we do still have an open society for the most part.
These folks are getting killed by us big time in the middle east and they are loosing face. Just to maintain their previous status in the region they absolutely must make a successful strike. This insurgent type activity is the last resort for them but they must do something, anything at this point.
