I agree with that train of thought. 24/7 seems to really mean 7 minutes of news repeated 24 hours a day. Either FOX or CNN need to be on live with real "breaking news" during these critical times of our lives. IMHO.

They really need to have at least a skeleton crew in there overnighgt.

Staff a night correspondent. Hell, I would kill for that job. Get a couple producers in there and a few in the control room and a camera operator. They could manage without a floor operator etc.

The cost would be minimal, and even less when compared to how much they are losing in ratings since they can't do effective breaking news, especially overnight.
