How many folks of German and Japanese ancestry found life difficult in the US during WWII. We did not live in a PC world back then. Now, 60 years later we drive German and Japanese vehicles in the US. We got over it.
If I am living or visiting in another country, I respect that country and it's culture, and it's laws. If I don't, send me back from where I came with a one way ticket. If I am visiting a country with who we are engaged in war, would I expect more freedom than that country's citizens. NO. When in Rome, do as the Romans do mean nothing to this cult.
