praising each other for shooting protesters with rubber bullets

So what's the big deal? At least they didn't kill anyone with real bullets.

Apologizing for comments made while working at a Free Speech Summit???? Is it me or has this country lost its mind?

My thoughts exactly. Ironic, no?

I completely disagree with most of what these "free speech" protestors have to say but I think its pretty darn scary to imply we citizens should be thankful when our public servants choose not to shoot us with real bullets.

They should use real bullets much more often than they do.

LA Riots, for example

From the video this is an extreme abuse of power and these cops should be jailed. I watched the first clip and it was not a violent protest and the police were not threatened. Simply amazing that nothing will be done. How many here will scream when its our cause they are shooting us for.

The LA riots however were extremely violent.

"The LA riots however were extremely violent.

All the rioters or any of the rioters? No

If a rioter represents a threat to someone else then the use of deadly force should be an option. It shouldn't be the solution.

The guy who threw the brick at the truck drivers head got off with less than attempted murder because it couldn't be proven that he knew that a brick to the head could cause death. Deadly force would be appropiate for someone pulling people out of cars and assaulting them.

If they are looting and burning then the use of deadly force would be appropiate.

If they are standing on the street corner and not obeying orders to disperse it would not be appropiate to shoot them.

Hard to make these decisions in a riot but thats too bad. Cops are not the judge, jury and executioner. In this video they did not shoot people throwing rocks or representing a threat. They were shooting indiscriminately. Shooting thru the ladys sign and hitting her in the head could easily have blinded her. The attitude they displayed afterwards was extremely unprofessional and further proof we don't want whacked out cops to have the power to start using deadly force indiscriminately.

In general I objected to the way the cities were turned into police states during these world order boondoggles. Perfect examples of how our own military and police will be used against us if the UN/liberals get their way.
