Jesus is not an embarassment to conservatives. On the other hand, Pat R. certainly is an embarassment to conservatives. Using the broken clock analogy, he gets to be right twice a day. Sorry to rain on your parade, but he is a false prophet in my opinion. Of course he quotes scripture often enough, and that can't be wrong, but when he starts talking politics I just want to close my eyes and ears and pray that he shuts up. Specifically he prohpesised on CNN in January 2004, that Mr. Bush would win re-election "in a walk." That just wasn't the case if you happen to recall the facts.

It was most certainly the case in comparison to the election of '00.

Anyway, I don't think anyone here believes Pat Robertson is a prophet. But neither is he a shame to Christians, or conservative Americans.
