They didn't know when to listen to their betters. They should get down on their knees and thank the cops for protecting them from themselves.

The cops are their "betters" when they're in pursuit and working a crime scene.

The Unsers apparently have your attitude, which is why they got cuffed.

The Unsers act like small time big shots, very small indeed.

When cops are working a crime scene, anybody who interferes for any reason are subject to physical restraint and/or arrest. Things may work out later to be in the favor of the restrained and/or arrested, but at the scene, at the time the cops are in charge. They may be wrong in their interpretation and enforcement of the law, but they will always believe they are in right, at the time, and will act accordingly. Only a fool will try to bully a cop at a crime scene. If a person doesn't want to wear handcuffs and arrange bail, then stand back until the cops get done with what they're doing.

What part of the Constitution is that in?

Never mind the legality of that action ...

Where do these crazy guys get off thinking they've got a right to their own property???? Especially if it means more work for the [genuflecting] Police?
