Lou Dobbs seemed (appropriately) upset tonight, and I cannot blame him. It appears that our government has charged border guards for shooting an illegal immigrant, a drug smuggler, and who was caught in the very act and with the goods, no less.

The prosecution (and immunity for the illegal) sounded like something from
"The Twilight Zone".

Except it seems to be almost SOP for the zuperior rights afforded illegals.

O'Reilly had it on last night too. They not only are trying the agents, but they have been convicted and can be sentenced to up to 20 years.

One of the agents thought the dope smuggler had a gun and shot the smuggler in the butt.

Our wonderful Department of Homeland Security had an investigation, found out who the dope dealer was and brought him up from Mexico (promising not to press charges, if he would testify against the border patrol agents).

O'Reilly had Sara Carter, the reporter that has covered so many border stories to discuss it.

So you have two border patrol agents convicted for shooting a Mexican drug smuggler.

When it comes to homeland security on the southern border, George Bush and his cronies would sell this country's interests out in a heartbeat.

Border Guard shoots dope dealer? Prison time.

US Marine shoots car-bombers? Prison time.

Honestly, WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD WORK FOR THESE PEOPLE?

also he referenced Huffingtonpost and truthout.com as reliable sources for info about 9/11 while talking about how NORAD, FBI, etc had "lied" about the timeline on the aircraft highjackings and shoot-down orders. For a guy who was respectable in '92, he's well on his way ro Michael Moore-like credibility

I'm afraid the Mexican govt, and it's people carry more clout than any of us imagine.

When our own govt will not stand up for its' own border patrol, something is really wrong...
