Transcription from radio/internet broadcast:
Pro-life advocates are decrying a grisly new outrage in Europe: Face lifts and cosmetic surgery using tissue from aborted babies are being offered at clinics in places such as Moscow and Rotterdam, and women from around the globe are flocking. In many cases women in third world nations are being paid up to $200.00 US to carry babies up to 12 weeks of pregnancy, when the unborn children are aborted and sold to the cosmetic clinics. An increasing number of these facilities are now springing up in popular vacation spots including Barbados and the Dominican Republic where regulation is spotty at best. Michael Harrington, SRN News.
My first reaction on hearing this news was to yell out "NO!" over and over again, and then to conclude just as you did. Prayer is not the last resort, it is our best offensive weapon against the kingdom of darkness.
[F]or the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses.
2 Corinthians 10:4
Absolutely disgusting.
You have a wonderful sermon there. Oh Lord, grant ears to hear!
I couldn't agree more. The very concept is stomach churning. Cannibalizing babies for beauty treatments.
I wonder if we'll hear a peep from the left on this. Exploiting third world poverty so the secular leftist elite can stay young (because I'll bet you dollars to donuts, no conservative would engage in this practice.)
And I was called a self-absorbed pig a few months back because I drove one of those evil SUVs... but this? This is a woman's choice, I guess, so it's okay... (do I even need the sarcasm tag for that?)
I smell of what is probably an urban legend is quite odiferous. This cannot be for real. Even taking the baby componant out of it, it doesn't make any sense. I'm calling bs.

"Clutching her Hermes holiday bag ..." yuck.
2 Corinthians 4:7-18But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So then death is working in us, but life in you.
And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, I believed and therefore I spoke, we also believe and therefore speak, knowing that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus, and will present us with you. For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.
Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
all I did was cry yesterday, there are no words to express this inhumanity
Michigan State University Op Ed Calls Pregnancy a Sexually Transmitted Disease
In a July column, a sophomore at Michigan State University has declared that pregnancy is a sexually transmitted disease. Writing for The State News, the campus paper of Michigan State University, Ian Twitty writes, Pregnancy symptoms read like those of a disease. Theres abdominal and other swelling of the body, fatigue, nausea. Lets face it. Pregnancy is a disease. The decision as to whether to let the disease run its course or cure it via abortion is purely a matter of personal preference. Anti-abortionists who claim that there is a moral or ethical dimension are hysterical liars.

What did you search for? I was trying to find somthing on snopes but no luck.
True justice in these cases would be these vain women getting their face transplants and then their bodies rejecting them!I bet it would look like something out of a horror movie!
What you say is true, but do you believe the Lord is going to wait forever for people to come to repentance? (Scripture doesn't say that....)
It would seem so. I am sorry to report (and you likely know already, but many do not so I'll say it anyway), it is going to get a lot worse. I have no idea when the Rapture of the Church will take place, but daily I watch and pray for it, and trust that I will be spared the worst of what is to come.
"Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them, do you think that they were worse sinners than all other men who dwelt in Jerusalem?"All have sinned and apart from Christ Jesus all will perish. Those who are alive when the Tribulation breaks out will wish they could die and will not be able to.
Now is the day of salvation: Oh, that men would hear His voice, repent, and turn to the Only True God Who is Willing to Save!
Oh yes! May the God of Heaven hear our prayers for those who are so far from Him! All things are possible, said Jesus, only believe! The vilest of sinners, a murderous woman who aborts her own child, myself, was saved by His Grace, and I believe for thousands, millions more, just like me, to come into His Arms of Mercy!
I agree. I really wonder - but don't want to know - what could possibly top this.
I take that comment back:
The grace of God can top this, anyday. If only men would turn and receive the free gift! His Name is My Redeemer and He ever lives to intercede for men!
Sad doesn't quite cover it, though, does it? It is hard to find the words. God alone knows the depth of man's depravity. Just think of it: we only see the glimpses.
me too
Thank you.
