Sousa had a thing for the Big 10. He called the Victors the best fight song, and gave his papers to the University of Illinois, and wrote the Illinois March for them. Of course, that isn't a good fight song, and you'll only ever hear it in concert and when their band is in parade.

And with Ron Zook as coach, you won't have to hear it too many times, because they won't score.

Couldn't be any worse than with Ron Turner as coach.

How on earth one school could produce so many NFL players in such a short time frame and stink so terribly is beyond me.

With their new recruits, I'm expecting 4-8 or so this year, possibly as good as 7-5. People may think that's horrible at Florida, but keeping Illinois at 7-5 or better would be a miracle. :)

Now if Illinois could only barely break .500 in basketball, heads would roll...
