Was fat-boy Michael concerned about the "tens of thousands of Iraqi lives" that Saddam murdered when he was still in power?

Perhaps he was concerned when GHWB was in office; certainly not when WJC was passing time in the Oval Office.

Dean should hire him for the DNC think tank.

To be hoisted, or lifted, by a petard literally means to be blown up.

It is amazing how many of these old idioms are used daily and assumed to mean something they do not. One of my favorites is "rule of thumb." Some say it is in reference to British common law that allowed a man could beat his wife provided the stick was no larger than his thumb. Others say that definition is an urban legend that has persisted for two centuries.

Michael Moore is warning all Democrat candidates for office that they must tow the leftist line or face defeat as did Senator Joe Lieberman

Yeah, 100% of the time. Not, the 90% of the time like Joey.

Yes, yes, yes, from the Dim side I want to have only Moore, Dean, Peloci, Schumer etc with their easily recognizable insanity on TV.

i was talking to xshub about this, this AM, and he said while we have our unappeasables they are mostly fringers, but the unappeasable DEMS include the LEADERSHIP. Chris Dodd's lack of support for Lieberman was extremely obvious. Contrasted with Santorum/Specter situation. Shows the hard left is the heart and soul of that party now.

I think you are right. The funny thing is that Moore(on) is acting Pavlovian, just like Rove predicted, but you'd think that DUmmies would see the trap.

Feasting With The Beast has begun. Oh, bar-keep, another round for the celebrants. And, please keep the wine coming. I want them completely drunk with power and sloven lust. Sometimes it's good to see total depravity balloon to its bursting point. When the handwriting on the wall begins, they won't even take notice.

This sounds like dictator tactics.

Some of the Dems are just crazy. The worst are usually the ones that have had acquired money from their parents. I know a couple who's daddy left them everything they have. Gads, they are so self-righteous and think they are way smarter than everyone else. In our local city politics these leftist wacko nutjobs have been running the show for decades. That was until this past year when we have been able to get a majority of conservatives on city council. Oh my goodness what fun times we are having. Rush Limbaugh is right about the left in that when they loose power they go even more batty.

I urge everyone to get involved in local politics. Go to your city council and school board meetings. These places are ground zero and you can really have a lot of fun. Especially if you have the leftist types in charge and can unseat them. Because even after they lose real power they are just as pompous and arrogant. Combine that with them now being powerless and it's a joyful thing to see these nutballs fling political spittle.

Talking conservative politics here on FR is fun, getting involved in it hands on at the local level is a blast!

Moore warning anyone is like a termite yellin "timber"

I'm not sure I like the comparison..it can be close to the truth if we are not careful. Termites do not need to yell "timber!"

Termites will destroy your home while remaining out of sight..oh, you may see some light sawdust around your floorboards that you sweep up without thinking. And your walls may look solid. But underneath, your home is being shredded from termites working in the darkness, together..

Termites need to be eradicated at the first sign, not ignored simply because it is "only an insect".

Just went on vacation with the extended family...and my step-brother in law tried to start a political conversation by quoting Farenheit 911. He lost me completely. Anyone who would use Michael Moore lies as points for arguement, or anyone who actually believes Moore's works are TRUE enough to use as arguement, is not worth the waste of my brain power.

Can only hope that Michael Moore and the moonbats deep six John Kerry in Massachusetts. Ooops forgot, true to form, Kerry flip-flopped. Wonder if he was coerced into it?

Does this mean that Shrillary is going too?

Sadly... too many Republican politicians *are* complete idiots.

ACR and I were discussing this last night and this morning.

To us, Liebermann didn't appear very "contrite" or "chasened."

You don't suppose he plans to take a stand that will potentially divide that party, do you?

Or, as somebody suggested on the live thread last night, do you think this is solely about Joe -- whom we already know is not the most -- how would you say it -- ethical person "prinicple-wise?"
