Look at the woman in the white shirt. She looks like she is worried about what McKinney is going to do next.

I watched a short clip of Cynthia's concession/accusation speech on Fox News earlier this morning. To me, that was the best she's ever looked.
On a side note, my mother would have me apply her false eyelashes before she and my father would go out for the evening. I dreaded the inevitable phone call. "QUILLA!, one of them has fallen off, what am I going to do now!" My sisters and I would roar with laughter until the prima donna (sp) returned home. ;-)

Cynthia is a great poster child for "pride before the great fall..."

My prediction is that we see some whitney houston picts of her by December.

The article that I read on BET, started out saying "she lost by a mere 11,000 votes" and way at the bottom, in case you didn't read that far, said her opponent got 59% of the vote. That's not just barely losing, that's being totally crushed!
To: redstates4ever
That top photo is actually quite flattering. Her eyes are very pretty in it.

I have mixed emotions concerning her losing .
On one hand, since a dim is very likely to win her district why not have an ineffective kook.
On the other hand, I really, really hate the thought of my money paying her hundreds of thousands of dollars in salary and perks.

LOL - she blamed the media and voting machines in her concession speech.

Well, at least some of her lost benefits and perks will hurt..From a Citizen for Wasteful Gov't spending website..:)
"In addition to their salary, members benefit from perks that include free outpatient care at certain hospitals, frequent-flyer miles from government travel, free meals and vacations from lobbyists and business groups, access to first-class gyms and tennis courts, taxpayer-subsidized life and health insurance; and a special pension program.
The benefits of lawmaking extend beyond time in office; nearly half of former lawmakers who are eligible move on to lucrative careers in the lobbying industry."

The true professional, as always. The sad eyes, the personal hurt, that "I'm ready to explode and blame everyone else for my screw ups" look. I am sure proud of GA for voting her out. We'll never hear the end of it! :-[
