I find it astonishing that tobacco is even considered important enough to be mentioned along with the other issues.

I was surprised to see tobacco being grown in Connecticut the first time I was in the countryside there. Turns out "shade" tobacco is a huge crop for the state and the product is highly regarded.

When you say "shade tobacco," do you mean big tobacco plants grown for ornament and shade?

Do tobacco plants smell? I love the way tobacco smells, especially in a pouch ready to be put into a pipe.

They grow the "wrapper" leaf for cigars.Expensive to grow.

Down here we grow Burley,I`ve got 6 acres about ready to cut.

I hate to root for a Rat but I guess Loserman is the best we can hope for.
