I don't think either Kerry or Gore will be the Democrat candidate in 2008. The Dems only give you one chance to fail. If Hillary does not get the nomination and were to run as an Independent, I would think that would guarantee a Republican victory. This would most likely prevent her from ever getting the nomination. I think she would just bide her time until 2012.
