If Joe Lieberman loses, then the moonbats and by default Osama bin Laden wins.

That's not necessarily so. The more moonbatty they get, the better. They already can't win nat'l elections because of their anti-Americanism. Lieberman gave them the opportunity to pretend to be normal. Now the pretense is gone, and I say good. And anyway, Lieberman's just a typical DC incumbent who thinks he's got a job coming to him. Screw him.

I hate to tell you this... At least one-third of U.S. adults believe that the American govt. was behind 9/11... There's alot of people out there willing to slit their throats and lots of people who might be seduced to support them because they don't get that soldiers die in wars. We are at a very critical junction in this war, and there's still a real chance that we may lose it... We need Lieberman to win, because it's essential that America has two parties willing to defend this nation against terrorism and avenge 9/11. IMO, playing politics with the war and celebrating Lieberman's defeat as a short-term political gain is as irresponsible as the actions of Cindy Sheehan and the "Jersey Girls" on the left.

I just have to respond to your tagline.

First, this is not the same situation as 2000 where an election result was contested and selectively at that. Secondly, he really didn't have any say since he wasn't the main man. He was obligated by his position to do whatever Gore decided. I will not fault him for that specifically, although I do acknowledge his contribution to that debacle of a team.

Secondly, in this case, he realizes that if he does NOT run, it will be a blow to the WOT and that is of vital importance to this country. Without that, honestly, I doubt he would run. On the other hand, I bet that without that Lamont would not have run. While I disagree with him about, well 90% of the time, I will say that I would support him in this case over a clearly crooked GOPer. So that doesn't seem like being a sore looser as much as a man committed to the country.

So...I guess what I'm saying is that, yes, you may be the only one.
