If the Republicans can field a good candidate, the seat is theirs.
I understand the GOP candidate is very weak.
There is no Republican in Connecticut with name recognition outside of the governor. The last guy that ran against Lieberman is in jail for the next 20 years (he deserved it). That is another story that I won't mention here.
