"You're not even in Connecticutt [sic]. It's up to them, and clearly, they don't want Joe."
You're not either.
"Clearly"?
It's clear that the people of CONNECTICUT don't want Lieberman because 20,000 more DEMOCRATS, in a closed primary in which only about a tenth of the electorate voted, wanted the anti-war kookburger over Lieberman?
No.
Given the choices, the people of Connecticut want Lieberman.
The Quinnipiac polls show him winning the general election, and the general election result will show it.
Lieberman will win with a broad base of Democrat, Republican and Independent voters. Lamont will get the anti-war nutjob Democrat fringe. Schlesinger will get the yellow-dog Republicans but nobody else. Lieberman will get the rest, and he'll win by a majority, not a plurality.
The people of Connecticut want Lieberman.
The nutjobs of the looney Left don't.
It would be irresponsible for Lieberman to drop out now, and just let the looney Left win.
We'll see.
If you have a link to that poll, I'd like to see it.
