No, not at all. Everybody knows those gys are just racist hustlers. He's not going to get much mileage out of that.

What's cynical about it is that Joe is Jewish, and it's well known what Jesse and Al think of Jews. Ugly scene.

You are a great voter. Rather than tantruming, you take a look at the reality of the situation, identify your priorities and make a practical choice. This country would be a better place if we all did that, all the time.

Politics1.com just has August 2006 as the filing deadline. I think the filing deadline is as soon as tomorrow. For US Senate candidates they have Diana Urban running as an independent but identified as a Republican. Anyone know anything about her?

How old are you?"

I just have to respond to your tagline.

First, this is not the same situation as 2000 where an election result was contested and selectively at that. Secondly, he really didn't have any say since he wasn't the main man. He was obligated by his position to do whatever Gore decided. I will not fault him for that specifically, although I do acknowledge his contribution to that debacle of a team.

Secondly, in this case, he realizes that if he does NOT run, it will be a blow to the WOT and that is of vital importance to this country. Without that, honestly, I doubt he would run. On the other hand, I bet that without that Lamont would not have run. While I disagree with him about, well 90% of the time, I will say that I would support him in this case over a clearly crooked GOPer. So that doesn't seem like being a sore looser as much as a man committed to the country.

So...I guess what I'm saying is that, yes, you may be the only one.

Lieberman said. "For the sake of our state, our country and my party, I cannot and will not let that result stand."

Translation: For the sake of me, my myself and I, I will use Connecticut law loopholes to continue my quest to stay in power.

Lmao to all the wiahful thinking from the msm/dnc about Lieberman never considering running third party and implying that would stain the party. Like that is possible.

A rat politician, by its nature, cannot possess integrity and honor. I wonder if the MSM is going to herald this as an courageous act of heroism and selfless devotion to the service of America.

e need Lieberman to win, because it's essential that America has two parties willing to defend this nation

We're nowhere close to having two parties willing to defend this nation--with or without Joe Lieberman. What you're asking for isn't even in play.

So in typical moderate Republican fashion, and so as to not antagonize our Democrat friends down at the country club, we should concede this seat to the Democrates just to prove what good sports we are?

Well, Hannity was squawking about how Lieberman votes with the moonbats 90% of the time. So if yer supporting him, who's conceding to the moonbats? Not I. Screw him.

You may believe that, but I don't. I believe that he realizes if he doesn't run, he's out of a cushy job.

I'm pretty sure Lieberman will have a very cushy job whether he wins or not.

Soon the gimmiecrats will expand the big tent to admit terrorists and crack heads, now that they've thrown overboard Lieberman, the last JFK gimmicrat. What a feat for the party of death.

You're not even in Connecticutt. It's up to them, and clearly, they don't want Joe. To me he's just another spoiled incumbent. They get relected a couple of times, and they start to think it's a lifetime appointment.

The DUmmies are heavily split into the Cynthaphiles and the ones who can see what an embarrassment she is. On the subject of voting irregularities:

...it appears that most of the controversies involve people who couldn’t find Rep. McKinney on their ballots because they mistakenly believed they were in her district, or because they had registered to vote as Republicans.

The allegations being made by the McKinney camp don't even make sense.

Of course, whenever someone injects sanity into DU, the fur flies:

I am just,...F***ING STUNNED,...at this thread!!!!

Ms. McKinney spoke power to truth every damn day.

I am,...stunned. DU has evolved into something I no longer recognize. This thread proves it.

Ms. McKinney is one of the most informed representatives, WITH NO KICKBACKS, on the hill. What the fuck is the matter with people? They WANT to boot a voice for the people? They get sucked into a moment in time when an event took place where this woman's credentials were questioned, she resisted and wasn't charged?

F*** it!!! This country has lost its way and its sanity.

I am F***ING STUNNED!!!!!

Nothing's cushy like a Senator's gig. You get to share authority with 99 others, plus 450-something on the other side, plus the president, etc. Meaning, there's practically no real accountability. You get 6 figures, work public school teacher hours, with months off at a time. You ride around in limos, get treated like a big shot. I mean, c'mon. It's a good gig if you're a cheesy, lying weasel.

No, but I'm not the one talking about "supporting" him. A lot of freepers send money to other states, etc. Not very federalistic of them, I say.
