Moonbat's victory tonight could very well end up costing the Dems their dream of taking back the Senate. As long as the Republicans don't screw it up and try to win the race themselves.
You understand, of course, the if Lieberman wins in November, he will caucus with the Dims in the Senate, so the seat remains Dim for all practical purposes.
Now, one Freeper had an interesting scenario which won't happen--but it would be fun if it did. In this scenario, Lieberman wins and Bush appoints him to something or other and Lieberman resigns from the Senate. The Pubbie governor appoints his replacement. That would sure serve them right.
