Unfortunately, Hank Johnson is also a Moonbat.
He is just a less flamboyant moonbat. He already admitted that he and McKinney agree on virtually all of the issues and that style is the only real difference. We just no longer have somebody to point to and laugh at now. We will have another nobody in a powersuit in the congressional black caucus who cares more about being black than being effective or influential in Congress.
I'm glad he won but I watched the debate and thought he was being held hostage in some undisclosed place, it was almost too sad to view, I guess his handlers advised him to have no eye contact with the nitwit
Of course he is a moonbat, most Georgia Democrats are, but at least Queen moonbat McKinney is done (stick a fork in her).
Johnson isn't a 'moonbat'. He's a liberal through and through, but not a 'moonbat'.
The difference is essentially this, if you disagree with Johnson, he'll try to explain to you why he disagrees and try to persuade you to his side. If you disagree with McKinney, you are a racist, a facist, and it's all GWB's fault, it's all the J-E-W-S falt, etc.
It isn't different for the vote in Congress, but it's different for the tone of national discourse, which is important.
You know, I just thought of something:
McKinney was rumored to be courted by the Green Party to run for President...I think in 2004 before her seat opened up again. Do you think they might approach her again in 2008?
How great would that be? I'm sure she'd get at least 3-5% from the moonbat left. If only half of those otherwise would have voted, that would still give a 1.5-2.5% edge for the R.
