Very insightful regarding the Palestinians. They had a home they could have been a part of and even be a major political force in, if hatred for Jews had not twisted them so. They were welcome to be Israelis at one time, but their hatred and the fact, as you able pointed out, that they were used by Jordan, Syria, and Egypt as proxies to try and exterminate the Jewsish state prevented them with all their ofrmidible potential from realizing peace and a good life for their children. The same sort of manipulation is happening in Lebanon, with the same tragic outcome, simply because Arabs love to hate more than they love their children's lives. [Sting's haunting refrain comes to mind at such times ... "I hope the Russians Lebanese love their children too."]
