I caught the Paula Zahn (yeah, I know, what the hell am I doing watching that waste of skin) piece on this story and the piece ended referring to the photographer as a VICTIM.

The piece ended like this (in summary).

The blogisphere questioned the photos..blah-blah, same blog that busted Dan Rather, blah-blah...The blogger found another VICTIM.

Insert dropped jaw.

Thanks, Reuters.

I might have been inclined to believe this explanation before I understood that according to Muslime prophecy, smoke is supposed to cover the sky continually as a sign that their Messiah is returning and Muslims are supposed to fight the unbelievers.

The disturbing make believe photos from this disturbing make believe event are shown below. Don’t allow children under the age of 30 to view this horror caused by Israel. Of course, this is Bush's fault.

No Problem! Here comes your Bomb!

"I believe he was trying to take a picture and make it better rather than trying to take a picture and make a statement," Hershorn told National Public Radio in an interview aired today.

The first follow up question would naturally be that if this is true, why didn't he make some pictures 'better' that would shows Hezbollah in a worse light, and Israel in a better light?

That is, if his mandate was simply to make photos 'better,' why are they consistently politically biased in one direction?
