So a citizen buying something in bulk is suspicious?

Yup, it sure is.
Guns are legal but 100 rifles in the back of a car should be cause for suspicion and at least a question.

Cellphones are legal but hundreds in the back of a car should be cause for suspicion and at least a question.

A 100 pounds of the nitrate used in fertilizer isn't illegal either for a farmer to have, maybe more for a big outfit but 2000 lbs of this legal substance in a U-haul truck should be cause for at least a question.

I don't think you can quote me as wanting to ban cellphones because none of my posts reflect that. A little common sense is in order when an unusual and potentially dangerous or suspicious situation is at hand. hundreds of cellphones in the back of a car is suspicious at least and at least should prompt a question or two. Questions are not necessarily accusatory or inconvenient to any person who has nothing to hide and willing to be a responsible citizen.

I have a hard time understanding those who would risk the lives of others in order not to experience the slightest inconvenience of being asked a few questions or searched at large public events, at airports etc.

Do you throw a tantrum at red lights because your freedom of movement rights are being violated?
