"It doesn't make sense to me to have young children doing math equations 9/11 related," she said. "Education is for history and telling the story that is appropriate about heroes and the day, not doing activities unless they are healing activities, and not sitting around doing a booklet."

Ole Monica started out great, but when she got to the part about "healing activities" I started to twitch, and was totally confused when she got around to denigrating "doing a booklet."

I am forced to conclude that Monica, like so many women, can't think logically, and if she can, she can't articulate her thoughts for squat.

How does one "do a booklet"? Will I be banned for asking?

Maybe she's equating it with something like filling out a MadLibs book or some such thing.

As far as her healing activities comment, that lost me too. The very term brings to mind those weird "trust exercises" they make you do on "team building" corporate outings (like falling backwards, blindfolded, expecting folks to catch you, etc.)
