It is crap,A few years ago, a couple of close friends of mine were going into a bodybuilding contest, and had check ups.

The doctor (an idiot) labeled them "obese" based on their weight and height.

52" chest. 18.5" biceps.

Yep... you guessed it, I'm "clinically obese" despite actually having fairly low bodyfat.

Next goober to say it to my face gets tied into a knot and punted out the door. BMI is a good mass indicator, but does little to denote over all physical fitness.
