That's some strange gig with newbies that I can't figure out yet....I busted another this morning, because she started berating some FReeper over a post from a ways back.
This is terrible. The Erwin family just survived a horrible accident. How dare you make jokes and insult Mr. Erwin's intelligence. Their injuries were LIFE-THREATENING--do you realize that? What if that was YOUR family? Since everyone is just making assumptions about how this happened--I'll tell you. They DID NOT fill an air mattress with propane. They filled an air mattress with air from an old propane tank that had not been filled with propane in five years. Apparently, there was still enough propane residue to be flammable, and the explosion happened when they were letting the air out of the air mattress. Now, I'm not saying that this was good or bad idea. The only thing that I do know is that they are just thankful to be alive. Everyone makes mistakes, we are only human. Have some respect.
