Let's just piss on and burn the Constitution and be done with it.
Your suggestion comes right out of 1930's Germany.

I heard a former PLO terrorist say that Americans still don't recognize the danger we are in from the Islamic terrorists. It appears that is true. I do.

"Deporting all the Muslims would be cheaper!" That's not possible. A "Muslim" isn't a race, it's a religion. You don't really have any mechanism for learning who IS a Muslim and who ISN'T. In a free society such thinking is folly.

"A "Muslim"... it's a religion."
that's debatable but any "religion" or "cult" that professes to kill nonbelievers should not be allowed to exist in America.

"you start at the mosques" Ok. You take the convenience stores. We'll touch base at noon tomorrow to discuss our progress. I think I may be getting the rough end of the deal here, and it was YOUR idea lol.

"Better cost us our principles than our lives..." I don't think we have to sacrifice either. Any muslim (lower case intended) with a green card should have his visa canceled immediately. Those who attend mosques (again lower case intended),and are citizens, that preach hate and jihad should be watched very closely.

"so by the same principle, wouldn't how, when, and where others practice religion be none of anybody elses business?" "freedom of religion" does not mean "freedom to blow up buildings and murder" and that is not only "our business" but against our laws! ` now quit bothering me with your inane posts
So we should be against those who would blow up our buildings and murder. Not those who happen to have a non-radicalized version of the religion that promotes the murder of our citizens.
There are many radical sects of christianity who are much more threatening to our way of life than the muslim family down the street.

I would close down the mosques and deport them all.
Remember citizenship is a privilege not a right.

Hi ricardobaltazar-"...There are many radical sects of Christianity who are much more threatening to our way of life than the Muslim family down the street..."
That certainly is a bit of a stretch. Violence and terrorism committed in the name of religion is done by Muslim/Islamic jihadists likely on a ratio approaching 10,000-to-1 if not more.

And you based that on what? Are you sure that is wasn't... nothing?
To: gondramB
you best begin to understand you cannot afford 'principles' when dealing with those who have NONE---our present attitude of 'better than thou' is going to get many Americans dead before we are finished with Islam
To: ricardobaltazar
Hi ricardobaltazar- C'mon, you're pulling our legs, right? If you polled the 300 million residents of this country and asked the simple question, "To which religion do most terrorists adhere?" what do you think would be the most popular answer? Perhaps you're just being intentionally contrarian or obtuse.

If you polled 300 million residents of this country, 2/3rds of them would say that they believe that G.W.Bush had prior knowledge of the 9/11 attacks.
That's why I don't trust the people of this country to influence my beliefs.

"Yeah well, the Founding Fathers didn't have to deal with something called "Islam".
Actually, they did. Jefferson had a pretty poor opinion of it....
