Its possible, but either way, the money isn't going to be there, the publicity won't be there, and if it is really good, it'll get like a small time cult following.
Most theaters, not due to the content, probably won't carry this since its a small time indy, it might make the rounds of a film festival, but thats about it.
To me, I just don't see the point in being a big name that draws money working a small time low level indy flick for a few bucks, and topping that off, doing a brutal scene for only a few bucks and no real pub gained.
