I think he's gotten his panties wound pretty tight the last few months over the wild-west gangbangers. The collateral shooting of that guy downtown really flipped him out. He seemed to make a personal crusade out of the issue. Perhaps a sober look at the same 'ol same 'ol bromides from the handwringers has worn a little thin for the boy. Even so, I wouldn't expect miracles. Remember Barbara Carlson took CC lessons and spent some time at Bill's range - all for naught.
