No, and I think Chafee is the best candidate we'll get in Rhode Island, not to mention that I personally like having a more moderate voice on social issues within the party. But as I would with anyone else, I'll always voice my disagreements.
If Rhode Island voters are so liberal, why are they voting for a Republican? Maybe the Republican is just the most conservative person they have a chance to vote for. Maybe they don't want a liberal at all but haven't been successful in dumping the Chafee family. Yet.
Rhode Island is 60% Catholic - they should know better!
