If this was an attempt on his life, it's likely another Palestinian that wants him dead. Israel isn't that incompetent, nor do they do such poorly targeted attacks.

There is however plenty of internal strife in Palestine to explain an incompetent attempt on his life. However, it's also likely this is just a staged political ploy.

Notice that the Pali Deputy Health Minister said that tests were to be carried out to determine what the unknown substance was. Can you imagine the odors to which they would compare it in the Pali lab? Maybe Camel # 5 and Eau de Burqa in the Summer, as you say. (LOL)

Just they idea of Palis attempting to do science on any level that is not related to military use seems preposterous, especially now that the Israeli labs aren't about to do their work for them.
