Ya know what, yes these girls, errr, women, are beautiful, but at the same time, it breaks my heart. To know that these women are put into harms way... Part of me will always be sexist. Maybe it was because I had so many sisters, but my gut reaction is to protect these women. All women really, I know, that makes me such a pig..

I hear ya. But remember, the IDF's record for battlefield effectiveness is unmatched, and I believe they've had women in the force for a lont time, so I trust they know what they're doing.

Very few of them are actually in combat roles. mostly admin, medical, and tech services. Doesn't mean they are totally out of harm's way, but they are not going womano-a-mano with the Hezzies either....

These ladies can definately take care of themselves, and yes some do see combat. That's the difference between Israeli and American "kids". Not too many American kids have had to live with the thought of being surrounded by nations that want you to no longer exist. Not many American kids could handle the training that the IDF dishes out to it's soldiers. Not saying that our troops aren't as well trained, but that mainly our teens aren't as dedicated, as a whole. PS2 vs. UZI? PS2 wins out here, most of the time.
