What is a lobster roll?

Every New Englander knows this is a gift from God.

The classic is a butter-toasted, soft-sided hot dog roll (of a style found only in New England) filled to overflowing with lobster meat chunks mixed with mayo.

Served with a side of cole slaw.

Connecticut, which if navigational memory serves me, is on the same body of water as the Bronx and Queens, can no longer be considered part of New England. They wear pink shirts, green pants, tassels on their shoes and the whole gdamlotofem cannot come up with a Republican candidate to take advantage of this Democrat Lieberman meltdown. Instead, I am being treated to post AFTER POST ABOUT WHAT A GREAT GUY THIS LEFT WING FINKO-RAMA IS!

Never mind him, Who we got? Dodd and Lieberman, One rolling on the floor with Ted Kennedy and a waitress, while dating Bianca Jagger, the other trying to steal a kiss offa George Bush ... and we can't beat'em? Jesus wept.

As far as their idea of a lobster roll? Hold the lobster. In Connecticut, I would wager the pansies make it with just a hint of Taiwanese flaked and formed pollock soaked in mayo lite, mushed into a Mets stadium surplus bun, side of yesterday's coleslaw. If these Connecticut Jackasses can't even figure out what an Indian is supposed to look like, why would you trust them to make you a lobster roll?
